I can not understand any scenario, where an Idle Speed Control Valve Electrical Malfunction, Providing otherwise stable engine idle speed control, would malfunction and cause the engine to stall. If the Nissan Books says it, then I agree, you might be tempted to chase down that path. And for that aspect I'm interested to learn your outcome of this Troubleshooting exercise. I like to learn from other peoples trials on fixing things. That is what this forum is all about. I have learned that the Book is wrong sometimes. Example. It states that Idle Fuel Mixture Control is an Open Loop Control. IT IS NOT. It is closed loop. I and others have proved it. I've watched it control, and I've played with the ECU registers and had it change it's Idle Mixture control points.
